Our mission is to create high quality commercial Compound-Specific Isotope Analysis solutions for environmental remediation and energy industries.

Key Personnel

Kuder Enviro-Isotopes LLC (KEI) draws on over two decades of experience in research and operation of a service lab by Dr. Kuder, at the now-defunct CSIA laboratory at University of Oklahoma.

See the links for Dr. Kuder's CV and the Google Scholar profile.

Company Profile

KEI was formed in 2024, reaching full laboratory capability in the first quarter of 2025. The company specializes in compound-specific (CSIA) lab services and consulting, with a focus on VOC-class environmental contaminants, and components of natural gas and crude oil. We anticipate introduction of lab services for life sciences (initially, CSIA of fatty acids) in coming months.

KEI hosts a range of instrumentation for compound-specific isotope and compositional characterization of environmental and hydrocarbon samples:

     •    A new Thermo Scientific Delta Q isotope ratio mass spectrometry system with a GC peripheral.

     •    KEI acquired a decommissioned MAT 253 GC/IRMS system formerly operated by Dr. Kuder at the University of Oklahoma to provide a backup capacity for isotope analysis. Installation of the latter system is anticipated later in 2025.
     •    Other instrumentation includes the following: GC/MSD, GC configured as an add-on to the GC/IRMS to allow two-dimensional chromatographic separation of complex organic mixtures, purge and trap units with autosamplers, a thermal desorption unit with an autosampler.
